Carp detect the pre-ovulatory pheromone 17,20β-DHP at picomolar levels — a few molecules in a water column is enough to trigger hard tracking behaviour. That's why synthetic hormone baits exist on the fringe of the sport: restricted, lab-only compounds that have no place in an open fishery.
FUEL never touches them. The blend carries wheat germ extract standardised to 1% spermidine — a water-soluble polyamine read by the same olfactory receptors, fully natural and fully legal. Enzymes can't break it down; it has no peptide bonds to attack. It rides through fermentation intact and leaches off the bait the moment it hits the lake bed.
And because it's a signal, not a substance the fish absorbs — the trigger disappears when the boilie is eaten.
